The Bank Holiday weekend at The Stoneleigh Kit Car Show saw the launch of a new MX5 based ’34 Ford Coupe kit car from Pro-Laminates the Essex based fibreglass manufacturer.

Nick Vincent, Pro-Laminates’ proprietor wanted to display the chassis in bare metal to show-off the quality of the fabrication work, so rather than cover it in paint he coated the entire frame with Gibbs Brand to prevent any surface rust or finger marks spoiling the appearance. “A light dusting of Gibbs was all that we needed to make the chassis look fantastic, and it’s great to know that we can paint it later with no worries” said Nick.
